What self-care is not
Self-care is not selfish. When you make time for yourself, you have more energy to support your friends and family.
Self-care does not have to be time-consuming. Even small acts of self-care can make a big impact on you you're feeling.
Self-care should not be a one-time indulgence. Taking time for yourself doesn't have to be earned but can be an ongoing practice to help prevent burnout and build resilience.
"Caring for myself is not self indulgence, it is self preservation."
- Audre Lorde
