March 2024: A year in review & project spotlight

March 27, 2024

2023 Recap

Every day, we count ourselves lucky to be able to collaborate with incredible youth-serving organizations focused on strengthening youth well-being and improving the quality and accessibility of mental health services. In 2023 - our first official year as Strong365 Lab - we worked with a number of such organizations, including the UCSF Path Program for Early Psychosis, Stanford’s Good for MEdia project, New York Psychiatric Institute’s OnTrackNY, and Michigan Minds Empowered. Projects spanned:

  • Health services research

  • Human-centered marketing strategies & campaigns focused on health behavior change

  • Program design and implementation

Working alongside our Advisory Board members & Teen Impact Advisors, these projects challenged our hypotheses, stretched our thinking, and demonstrated the magic that happens when you put the end-user at the heart of the creative process.

Project Spotlight: GoodForMedia

We recently collaborated with GoodForMEdia, a youth-led peer mentoring & education program exploring the ME in media, empowering youth to use social media in ways that promote well-being.

A program of the Stanford Center for Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing, the GoodForMedia team sought to revitalize their online presence across digital platforms, including their website and social media community.

Working closely with the GoodForMedia youth leadership team to understand their vision, values, and aspirations, our team refreshed the brand’s identity, reworked the website navigation to be more intuitive, and transformed the site’s content and features to drive deeper engagement. With a focus on user experience and accessibility, the new website ensures visitors a seamless journey, whether they're learning about the intersection of social media and well-being in the Learning Hub, seeking support resources, or exploring how to get involved.
